ABOUT US
Hello!
My name is Neil Malik and, like you, I am a fellow sailor, cruiser and adventurer!
I developed my first sailboat rack prototype 9 years ago and used it on my first sailing adventure which took me from Newport, RI to to Puerto Rico via the Intercoastal Waterway, the east coast of Florida, the Bahamas, the Turks & Caicos, the Dominican Republic and finally Puerto Rico. It was mounted to my Westsail 32 named "Wanti."
Like many sailors, I was looking for an efficient and clean way to organize all of my deck gear which included my rigid dinghy, my windsurfing boards, windsurfing masts, kitesurfing equipment and a large whisker pole. The rack system allowed me to easily transport these loads while also being able to access important deck hardware and running rigging.
Recently, I used a modified and upgraded rack design on "Wanti" for a one year sailing odyssey which took me across the Atlantic to the Azores, Portugal, the Algarves, Porto Santo, Madeira, the Canary Islands and then to Cape Verde. After several weeks in Cape Verde, me and my faithful crew, Cristina Sepede, carried on to Brazil.
I hope that you find my rack system as useful for your boat as I did for mine.
Happy Sailing!
